Not a good day to shoot

    Glad I'm not shooting today in the Jackson area. Winds S 24 mph gusts to 31 mph. Would be a waste of good ammo.

    Just hold alot of wind.. if it isnt enough, hold alot more.

    810 yards you dial up 30moa, and dial 29.8 moa into the wind.
    thats 243" drop and 241" wind

    Haven't seen wind gusts like this since our last tropical storm. Already had to chase empty garbage can down the street. I think WLBT issued another "Skirt Alert" for today.

    In that kind of wind the bullets would probably look like a big league Slider.

    Might try that in a match, but in a pinch I'd go with Kentucky windage. Walk it in like artillery.
