Re: Not Good For Our Sport ...

Even with a defect, the gun should have been cleared. When I go to a gun show, I myself clear every gun I pick up if possible. Your right about the seller being held liable. In all likelihood, the seller and promoters will be sued. Hope they have good insurance.

8" post and 2 people........ Good penatration............

(I know, that was uncalled for........... :) )

I do agree, people that handle firearms MUST be more careful ALL THE TIME..... I am with you Tanker, when I pick up a gun I first check to see if it is unloaded (pointing it in a safe direction).

Re: Not Good For Our Sport ...

by the way guys, that browning blr 358 win i bought today, was loaded!!!!!!!!!!! for those who dont know these guns, they have a detachable magazine, there was a zip tie around the lever, i popped the magazine out, and i am looking at two live rounds in it, i showed it to the man at the table, and he got red in the face, i asked him if he may have one in the chamber as well, sure enough after cutting the zip tie, and opening the action out came a live round!!!! the bad part is if someone else had cocked this gun, and attempted a dry fire, it could have been tragic........... treat ALL guns as if they are loaded, glad i found all this out when i did, was about 9:15am saturday morning, please always be careful in the shows..........................

Good Lord!

Why does this crap have to keep happening?

Just gives the anti's more ammo, so to speak.

I was at that Jackson show a few years ago when the idjit dealer was running live rounds through a rifle he'd just bought and touched one off. Either a bullet fragment or chip of concrete hit some poor guy in the ass. I was just one row over and a few feet "up range".
