Dug the old Coleman 413 G out the other day so the son could take it camping.

That got me remembering I had a 413D that I’d gotten from a trash pile way back without a tank. A quick internet search on tanks showed some on eBay but not at great prices so I tried another search, and walla…gas adapter.

She needs some cleanup but now she’s a cooker again.

I’ll still keep an eye out for a fuel tank though just to give the flexibility of using unleaded gas as the gas canisters can add up if you don’t refill them…and impossible to find post Hurricane or WROL.

The old white gas coleman stoves and lanterns are the best. Did a lot of cooking on those as a scout.
Yep me too ---- my dad got one back in the early 60s or so - I guess - hard to remember exactly when -- -still have it stored in our old dairy barn.
