They joined five of the curtains into one set and the other six into another set. Then they made fifty loops along the edge of the end curtain in one set and also along the edge of the end curtain in the other set.

How many people does it take to make a worship service happen? The pastor, probably an instrumentalist or two, a vocal leader, maybe a choir or ensemble. Just add a congregation, and … wait a minute.


Does your church distribute a bulletin? Someone typed, printed and copied it. Did someone hand you that bulletin? How about the people who took the offering or greeted you as you entered? What about the nursery attendants? Or the people who cleaned the building?


The point is, a lot more people are a part of the worship experience than the small handful of folks you see up front during the service.


What gifts or talents do you have that could be utilized in worship or serving the Lord?


Consider the Hebrew artisans working on the tabernacle. Their behind-the-scenes labor — making curtains, clasps, coverings, frames, bases — was deemed important enough to be recorded in the Word of God. Worship in the tabernacle would have been greatly diminished — and also much less than what God wanted it to be — without their contributions.


Today, look for ways you can use your gifts and abilities as an act of worship to God.
