i have a old set of rcbs comp series dies i think from the 90' which was part of my dads collection. I have heard these dies were just a good marketing gimmek from rcbs and not worth the money(not telling dad that). Any thoughts about these?

The seater die make the set valuable. Micro adjustments and slot to help align the bullet. I have the same in 223 and 30-06.

'90's. I have dies from the 50's. They still work. If you are wary about the serviceability of the dies, you can send them to me and I will dispose of them for you.

We use dies with the window. They make bullet seating ALOT easier!

RCBS still makes these. I use a set in .308 Winchester for my F-Class guns. Good dies
