Opinions on a possible trade?

I have been looking to swap my wifes Tauras PT111 for a .38. Got and offer today, guy has two he has to offer.

One is a Colt Police Positive with 4 inch barrel, the other is a Rossi with 2 inch barrel. Not sure I really like the looks of the Colt. I know what the Rossi is worth, about the same as the PT111. Anyway, just throwing it out there...any opinions? Trade for one? No trade?

Learned something new. I would have traded for the colt.
I think your PT111 is worth a lot more than a Rossi .38 I would think. A Rossi .38 snubby is only worth about $150-200 top end.

A 686 is an excellent pistol, probably the best 357 you can get now, but you'd have to come off some serious change to go with that PT111, a lot of change. I think a .38 would be a good pistol. Let her feel the recoil and see if she can handle it. If she can handle that PT111, she can handle a .38 I would think.
