Thinking about getting me a rimfire semi...for several reasons....

Saw a good segment on American Rifleman last night on the S&W Model 41 22 Rimfire target model

There used to be a lot of them used on the line at Camp Perry matches...Pistol was developed in 1941 but was not readily available until 1957 due to demands of WWII and Korean War

Smith still makes em...They look pricey...but so does everything else these days

Was wondering what ya'll thought of the pistol...looks like it could still be used in competition (I'm thinking steel here)

Took a look at the link - Boy; they are pricey! I would have to shoot one first before I put out that kind of $$'s

Not a hard and fast rule...but one can usually find a gun selling for about 50% of the retail price stated by the manufactuer.

That would put this gun in the $600 range and when you look at all the features the gun has...its not that bad...especially if an older one could be found.
