i know where one is that is priced right, but i don't know anyone one who has had any dealings with this triangle barreled rifle, any info would be appreiated

They are Remington 700's ...................... with triangular barrels, LOL. That's about all I can say. Nice rifles that shoot about like a ............. Remington 700!! (And really, that's saying something good)

If the price is good, go for it.

well i say the price is right, $575 with a 3x9 vari x 1 matte leupold and leupold one piece base and split rings with gunsmith adjusted 2.5lb trigger, ho does all that sound???

I have one. It's a good shooter. So far, using SGMJody's hand loads, I've gotten 1" groups at 200 yards. I think it will do better with more load development.

fingers got the best of me the other night, trigger finger was itching, picked the vtr up today, gun is near mint, will put it through its paces tommorrow, good news it will fall and fit perfectly into a hs stock i had laying back from a heavy barreled short action gun i had. :machinegun:

well, what can i say guys, there have been only one or two 700's i could not get to shoot very well, left the 3x9 vx1 leupy on the vtr, cleaned the barrel, and fed her a small diet of federal power shock 150's, 3 different 5 shot groups, all just under an inch, one being under .5", in my book, that is pretty good for cheap factory ammo

You'll like it. Put it in a good stock and develop a good load for it. I can get three holes touching at 100 yards with mine.
