What are the parmeters for this, i.e. size of hole and putting lime on top. How often to use the lime and how much? Be a good place to hide out a gun wrapped water tight with some ammo. Sounds nasty but if it gets as bad as some predict, it won't be the nastiest thing you do. Or would you just do your business in the neighbors yard?

That would be a crappy storage area, others may argue and think it would be the sh!t, pun's intended. I have actually thought of storage areas and the best i have come up with was 4"sch40 pvc capped and glued, gun in 2 layers of vaccum seal with cosmoline and a few packs of dry rice inside wrapped in cheese cloth to asorb the moisture. Ammo can be stored the same way all together, the storage area however i think would be better suited as a marine grade plywood box a few feet underground, or just a hole capped with mg plywood and 2x4's as it would last a while, or better yet inside a plastic 30gal drum.
