OK... that time again!!! :gatlin:

Set-up will begin promptly by 7:30 AM. We need you to be there by 7 AM. ALL in-town shooters are expected to be there for set-up, as we will have the shooter's meeting by 8:15 AM, so the match can start at 8:30 AM. The early start is being done to beat the terrible heat conditions. Late entrants will not be accepted without prior approval.

All shooters are expected to help in tear-down. You MUST check with the match directors if you need to leave for an emergency. We need everyone's help to make this program succeed, and will accept no less.

We dont want to beat anyone up over the work issue, but please be kind to your fellow shooters. If everyone does a little, nobody has to do a lot. So, come have some fun!

4 stages

100 rounds (bring more just in case)

$5.00 Entry

Limited Centerfire

Open Centerfire

.22 Rimfire Iron Sights

.22 Rimfire Open Sights

Come shoot with us! Perfect match for new shooters.

Have questions? By all means, light this thread up!

I'm gonna try to make this one. This will be my first go at it so no laughing at the noob. I might have to borrow some mag holders though, or just put them in my pocket. There might be rules against that though.

This would be my first time. I have a Ruger MarkII, plenty of ammo, two magazines, and a cheap holster that doesn't seem to allow it to be worn on a belt :idk: but it keeps the dust off the pistol. What would I need to get before the shoot and what time do these events usually last til? Thanks guys.

Thanks Will M, so I don't have to draw from a holster? Is this a timed event?
rimfire doesn't start from the holster. They start from low ready. Basically a 45° angle aimed at the ground. You can have a holster to put it in while your not shooting or you can bag it in a pistol rug.

Yes this is a timed match. There will be 4 stages. Each stage you will shoot 5 times with your highest time being thrown out. The other 4 will be added for your total time.

I'm not sure if I'll make just yet as I normally get off a 3:00am sat morning. If I do I'll have some mkll mags you can use.

cool, sounds like fun and thanks for the offer on loaning me some mags. Do these things wrap up around noon or so? I am going to try and make this one work since I noticed some of the other shoots are on Sundays, which is a tough day for me to make an early morning shoot. Thanks again for the info, do I PM someone to register or call Magnolia? Sorry to be asking so many questions.

Even if you only have 2 mags, we'll help you reload them between runs...dont let that stop you.
