This is not a repo holster, but the real deal, with white thread, gun is matching, with two P-38 clips with one of them marked. Bore has light pitting as you would expect from a wartime piece. No import marks, vet bring back.

Gentleman I got it from said his uncle brought it back from the war and gave it to him in 1960, he has had it since that time. He said he had fired it twice in all those years.

I have assembled a pocket book of firearm related German WW2 common codes. I get $5.00 for them delivered. The book has codes for firearms, ammunition, Leather goods and optics.

That's a nice P-38. I too have one with the original holster. My Grandfather brought it back from Germany when his duty was done after WWII. When he was asked how he acquired the Nazi weapon his only response was, "The soldier that I took it from didn't need it anymore." He left it to me. I've often wondered what it's worth but, I'd never get rid of it.
