Found this in the local pawn shop. Complete with trailer and front end loader. Everything is made out of cast metal but the frontend loader. So I took the loader off due to some broken plastic parts. Just ordered decals and gonna paint it up and restore it for my 2 year grandson. Awesome. Every kid needs a peddle tractor. Still have mine.

Wish I still had mine. Remember it as something like a Farmall. I'm sure it was red. It played a starring role in the Great Escape of '59. I piled up my tractor, wagon, and trike by the chain link fence in backyard and climbed up on them and over the fence. My mom found me a block or two away. I was age two or three. Butt hurt for a week.

    Hope he enjoys it.

Nice find. I have no idea what it might cost or whether you would even be interested, but if you can find a local hot rod shop that does their own fabrication you might be able to replace the loader with a metal one.

Believe it or not you can still buy parts for these trators. Some of them are worth alot of money.

Well if that is a double dog dare, then hell yeah I can still ride it. How far you want me to go? No time limits though.

Y'all didn't need to make me picture Phillip on a peddle tractor. Makes me think of Phillip doing a number like that guy on a tricycle on Laugh In.:lol4:

Ford I aim to please. I even have a lil wagon behind mine. I'll take you for a ride sometime. Somewhere close and slow with rest areas.

Arte Johnson did it the most, but sometimes it was Alan Sues or various crew.

Well I was gonna post some pics of the progress but it tells me the pics are too big. Anyway I have wet sanded it down and applied 2 coats of JD green. Removed the wheels and painted them JD yellow. Up next I will put it back together install the new decals. Thinking about puttling one coat of clear on it over the decals.
