I had a blast today. I didn't walk around hardly any due to funds, but I saw a few deals on the way to and from the facilities and the smoking area. Got to visit with Leadburner and meet Granjack, Bandit, tgun6542 as well as a couple others. On the down side, our table was next to a guy with high end milsurp Swedes, FAL's, and the most beautiful Mini 14 I have ever seen. He had good stuff and he knew it. On the good side, right across the aisle was vendor making kydex holsters fit to your pistol while you wait. The holsters themselves are really nice, but the young lady making them is inspirational. It was worth the trip just to sit there and watch her all day.

I've been in there many times over the years when I'm in town. He has a lot of stock to look at & it's fun to browse. But for the life of me, with the high prices & no bargaining from their side I don't know how they sell a single gun. Pawn side is the same way. To be fair their prices & selection of safes is top notch. But I do enjoying looking & BSing with them.:2cents:

While it seemed like there were less vendors than prior years it was worth the trip. It was refreshing to have room to move without feeling like you were in a sardine can.

Picked up a hammerless S&W J-frame for the wife from Larry McClure and a six target tree & four individual steel targets from phillipd. Both were great guys to meet.

In what may be a sign of the panic settling down, I bet there were less than half the number of ARs for sale than last year. That market is probably going to be pretty competitive for the next couple of years until excess inventory gets sold or a serious Democratic competitor emerges in 2020.
