I wanted a short grip Kahr without the drawbacks of the 3"barrel & do not like plastic (P9covert), so this is what I came up with.

That's a nice piece, Mark! The metal Kahrs are really good shooters. I know you'll enjoy it and if you don't, I know for a fact you can sell it quickly! :lol:

Nice! I had a regular K9 that was a great shooter. I decided that for a carry piece I wanted something lighter, though, and swapped it for a P9 Covert, which is a great little pistol. Perfect carry guns, in my opinion.

Just to add to the conversation, I've got the T9. Very similar to yours. A bit larger though.

Thanks, since that pic was taken I have cut down the Houge rubber grips to match the cut down frame. I just used the MK9 grips to line it up for welding. I feel the plastic Kahrs are too thin for me,and any plastic gun to slippery. JMO
