"Plate Match" @ GunHo in Pass Christian Friday Oct. 8th 7pm

We are having the first Plate Match this Friday night at GunHo. Start time is 7pm and you need to get there by 630 to sign up and get your shooter number. Fee will be $10 and it will be triple elimination.
The way the match works for those who have never shoot one is basically heads up shooting the plate racks with best 2 out of 3 moving ahead. There will be classifications based on time once you have shot a few rounds to see what class you would be in. Classes to start will be 6sec&above, 5sec, 4sec, sub4sec.
It is going to be a fun match, so come on out and burn some powder with us at the match. Please bring eye and ear protection for all that attends.
Tom will be running the match and just about everybody that shoots matches knows Tom.

Cliff, not sure how many there will be, this is going to be the first one there. Tom predicts when the word gets out, it will be a big group, but right now, we are unsure how many we'll have to start with. I know of only about 10 so far since the short notice, but we gotta start somewhere right. Tom would be the one to talk to about what classes there will be as I'm just passing the info on about the where and when.

12 shooters and we had a blast. We even had a couple LEO's on duty stop by to watch a few minutes.
Cliff is FAST if anybody didn't already know.
Y'all missed a good time if you missed it. They will be held every Friday night hopefully. Just a note, I used 98 rnds and shot 6 rounds.

I agree! We had fun! Looking forward to doing that again, as my girls want give it a try. Thanks to Tom for feeding and giving me a place to crash. I got up and went to Thibodaux to shoot their OutLaw Steel match the next morning... Great weekend!

Well, I made it last night, 10-22-10, and let me just say they need to get rid of those "moving" plates. Messes with my ego to miss SOOOO many times. LOL

Definitely humbling, went in feeling kinda cocky, came out DE-COCKED!

Good stuff!!!!

It's all good! Takes a ton if practice I shoot thosE plates everyday and still can't get under 4 seconds. Glad yall came out. I will give ya hills Monday pcpd8 about that app. I talked to britt today looks like he made it in this am lol!
