If we don't combine them, the cutoff is Monday, Tuesday I will meet for the money and place the order then. If I don't hear from anyone, we will go with wideners and you can estimate your portion.

My take on how a group buy (or co-op buy) works. I might be wrong so please let me know.

One person acts as the sponsor (host) and is the person that places and receives the order. That person also takes a risk by paying for the order and putting up all the money at first. People in the group buy can send the host money (via FTF or mail) while the order ships. When the order is received by the host, only one FTF meeting between all parties should take place. The host might not have the time for mutiple FTF meetings.

Since the host is fronting (and risking) their money, as a "thank you" to the host, the host does not pay any of the shipping cost. All the shipping cost is divided among the other people.

The quicker you send your money to the host...... the better.

Dan's idea is good and I've used it before. Wife just got out of St.D's including 2 days of ICU so cash is a little short. I can absorb a bit so don't worry Miker. Would want to get the deal cleared quickly though.
Never heard from the other group so I guess we will go Wideners if anyone wants to go in.

I think this Group Buy has got lost in the suffle with the other thread that was going on earlier and the one Beldran started a while back. I will do some net surfing over the weekend and find the best prices for powder/primers, shipping, hazmat, etc.

Lets close this one and start a new one first of next week -- I will honcho it if that is OK with everyone. I need some powder and primers ....

That is fine with me, honestly, we need to start off fresh and on the same page.
SGF, no offense taken, Capt can corral these orders under one banner. I was digging through finding orders and then people backing out, etc, etc.
