After several hundred rounds through my PT111 thought id review how certain ammo fires through this gun. Ive Used PMC, American Eagle and Estate FMJ's. About 100 rounds in from PMC i had a round hang up it didn't completely eject the other casing so the next round hung up so ive tried to stay away from PMC ammo in this hand gun. The Estate shot a box of 50 flawlessly no problems at all. A box of 50 from the American Eagle rounds again shot flawless these two cartridges are by far my favorite in this hand gun. The Estate and Eagle are not only relatively the same price comparison as the PMC its a better looking round and in my experience its more reliable. I caught all 3 on sale for 11.99 at Philadelphia Gun and Pawn and when i get some money i will be filling my ammo can with Estate rounds. Anyone that owns a PT111 heres my review on what practice ammo works the best in this hand gun ill be reviewing the Hornady Critical Defense and American Gunner defense ammo next so stay tuned for this anything i missed feel free to ask and tell me what i can do to better my reviews. Thank you and have a blessed night

I love the estate ammo i try and research as many brands to find one i like and the eagle and estate are by far my favorite I wish there was a better way to get a good price on that ammo instead of driving to Philadelphia which i may do because all their 9mm fmj is on sale for 11.99 a box a smoking deal compared to what i usually pay any where from 14.99 to close to 20 depending where i am

When buying factory ammo you can sometimes get a good deal from Natchez Shooters Supply on line when you buy by the case. I would first find out what works best before buying a case or more of something that is cheap but doesn't work all that well. I reload so how well the brass works for reloading is something I also look for. If you have the time and space for reloading you can reload for less than factory prices. You can also taylor your ammo to your needs. Just something to think about. I don't really save money reloading. I just shoot a lot more for the same money spent.

Update probably going to the range Monday to test some Aguila 124gr FMJ and Hornady American Gunner JHP 124gr. To see how it fairs compared to the 115gr ive ran in the gun since new. A good cleaning and some good ole paper therapy with the added bonus to see what i want to run in this gun. Due to cost of the JHP im only going to run 12rds 1 magazine and just for shiggles i may shoot 12 of my Critical Defense JHP 115gr see how the fair in comparison. Stay tuned guys ill let yall know something Monday. Have a good one and God bless
