Local place has a PTR-91 for $1100. I've heard they're pretty decent guns, and some say they're even better than the original H&Ks. Anyone here have any experience with them? Is that a pretty decent price or do yall think I could get a better price somewhere else?

I Just bought Two Ptr91 this week from the hkpro forum
if you watch there are some real deals on there One was a Un-fired early A serial number with a folding stock.
And the other was a AW serial number with a folding stock and a standard stock with 11 mags
From what i understand the AW serial numbered rifles are ammo sensitive they dont like some surplus.

Picked it up today, this thing is freakin' sweet! Can't wait to put some rounds down range soon! It's an AW, so thanks for pointing the ammo problem out. I was going to just buy some cheap stuff, but now I'll read into it a bit and figure out what's the best ammo for her.

There is a person on the hk-pro forum that can fix the he will re-cut the flutes I have emails into him as soon as i find out something I will shoot you a PM.
As far as Reloads Yes i will shoot them out of mine but both of the ones I bought were used and out of warranty.

Thanks again for the help! I just recently started looking into reloading and am trying to figure out what single stage and progressive will work best for me.
