whats a good source of pulled 30 cal AP bullets?

Man - have not seen any available for a long time ... Can find tracer bullets easy and even AP 50BMG; but those 30cal seem to be hard to come by. A buddy of mine gave me several hundred about a year back when I was looking for some ... I have been watching the Widenders and Pollygunbag sites for a long time and they have not surfaced --- good luck!! AND if you find a source, please let me know!!

Could try gunbroker -- with all the AP sold by CMP and some dissatified customers, I am hearing that many have resorted to pulling the bullets and selling the components ... just a thought ...

yup after alot of surfin the web,looks like,I might have to do as you suggest Cap.I was gonna buy up abunch to shoot out of my Savage,but with Doug posting ALL these pics of blown up rifles caused from surplus ammo,it ain't looking to good for the home team.

The CMP ammo that is being released now in 30-06 is AP.. It is not very expensive.. you didn't say what caliber, but that is a source. you could pull down and reload as necessary..D-451

I use a lot of milsurp in all my battle rifles ... most of it is very good ammunition. I do stay away from the surplus Korean stuff in 30.06 .. some is excellent, some is dangerous ... if you are interested in 30.06, there is still some Lake City out there and CMP has a ton of Greek HXP. The HXP is excellent ...
