This is a great idea for a "cheap" target stand...I used heavier 1 1/2 inch PVC

The number of pieces of pipe is correct....the lengths to cut are off...If you draw it out on a piece of paper I'm sure you can figure it out.

Good target stands...If you don't glue it...you can replace a piece of pvc should you shoot it to pieces...I use stretch chords with eye hooks between the arms and use binder clips to hold cardboard...then put "dirty bird" targets on them.

Not gluing the stand together also allows you to pull it apart and put it in the back of the truck for easy transport.

Making a few of these is no biggie....Takes about 1 hr to make one.

I have a pretty place....the shooters area is not all that big...My shooting bench is nice...4x4 legs in the ground...not going any where....150 yrd shots from bench...bench is in the shade. It's just an hay field.

Put some of these up with cardboard 10 15 25 yards.

One of these days I'm gonna get some poppers and put them all around in a few hiding places...paint some shoot/no shoot paint on them...Think I can have some "go seek" drills

Would like to do a "smoke and hope setup with some plates etc etc...One day...when I quit spending all my money on guns and reloading supplies...

Maybe I'll swing by out there today and make a pic and post it

I'm sure the grass needs mowing

G.O.D. WTF? I guess you just appointed your self in charge of building all the target stands? I'm humpin' this pony, you just hold the tail! Check with me before taking on any more projects please. If you build the target stands we'll have to rent a 18 wheeler to hual both of them. (1725 lbs. apiece is a little much) BTW you do know we were talkin' 'bout polyvinylchloride right. Not sch. 100 steel drill stem.

That stand plan from Magnolia RPC is OK, but it's better to make it out of 2" PVC. If you make it from 1.5", you have to whittle down the 1x2's to fit into the pipe. If you make it from 2", standard 2x2's will fit into the pipe with very little slack but no whittling required.

Just a friendly FYI.
