I went to a "living estate" sale today and at the end they were going to auction off about two dozen guns. Because of what some of them were... I was wondering if someone may be having some legal issues. Two of the pistols were actually just cut down single shot bolt .22's (which I thought were illegal) but the one I was really wondering about was this...

That's a Cobray Street Sweeper. Am I wrong or isn't that a Class 3 weapon? I didn't stay till the end but nothing was said about a transfer in the auction literature, online or during the auction when people were asking questions about the firearms. Am I wrong or is someone about to get bitten in the butt?

I don't know and maybe I'm wrong... that's why I'm asking those who know!

I would have been concerned as well...Why did you leave before they auctioned off the good stuff :lol4:

That gun looks pretty rough....looks like it had a run in with a can of Krylon...with a bad artist

I'd hung around just to see who they were about to take to jail....

People who do not fool with guns do not know the laws, but that will not stop them from going to jail. I would have love to have seen what that sold for. Glad I was not there, I can be a risk taker some times. The atf did an amnesty period on street sweepers 12 to 15 years ago. They ran ads in all the gun books, saying you have from this time to this time to do your paper work on them and ever thing would be ok, but if you was caught with one without the paperwork after this date you who have a illegal gun. A week after the date was out a guy was at the Kenner show with one walking around. $300.00 I wanted it so bad, but I knew the time had past. I all most brought it, but would not.
