Not much info yet but it's on taurususa.com. It's supposed to be new for this year. Don't know the need or value of such.

Taurus has already pulled this item from their upcoming lineup. Seeing as it as billed as a 28 gauge Pistol..it violates the ATF's rules on pistols designed specifically for shotgun cartridges. The 45 LC for the judge was just an excuse . The ATF actually busted Taurus AT shot show, and declared it a Short Barreled Shotgun. They could be in some trouble because they imported it from brazil as a pistol. Will be interesting to see how that all pans out.

Hmm I'm sure that I HEARD wrong, but I've always HEARD(never actually looked it up myself so it's probably all wrong), that a rifled barrel negates the length issue, and that was why the judge was legal from the beginning...but again that is pure hear say, and your version makes more sense

I tried to find the ATF regulations to no avail..and based on commenters..the exact reason as to WHY it's considered an SBS isn't really clear because of the convoluted nature of ATF regulations. Yay Yay government agencies.

i also heard the same on the atf banning this gun i would still like to c how much the raging judge in the 454 casual would cost its supposed to shoot the 45 and the 410 also the 28 gauge looked sweet tho i called my local pawn shop and they said they havent even got one in yet guess ill haft to wait

I heard of it on another site, & the guy says that they decided to run with it after all. Taurus still has it up on their site as of two nights ago. It might be a good gun to have if say, the blob, was closing in on ya.

Bought a Judge and had it for a few months until I went into a store that had a S&W Governor. Traded for it right then. Can now use my moon clips from my S&W 625 for more ammo. Usually put 1 shot, 1 slug, 2 45 colt and 2 45acp in it.
