Donavon can probably make you one for a good bit less. He sat down with me for an hour or so and he took what I wanted and gave me ideas, told me why some of the ideas I wanted were not what I really needed and so forth. He competes so knows them well.
Evan also makes knives but I was just on the group buy. After I get it, I can tell you what I think of his work but it certainly looks good.
My 2 cents. Those Randall knives sure look good and is local for you. Gives us a review on which ever you decide.

The web site says 58 month waiting list. Do you know someone who has one in stock or are you planning to wait that long?

The new price catalog says 4 years to deliver...that's one reason I never got one. Several years ago when I was tossing around the idea I ended up having the "Kansas" bowie made by another maker. Probably happen like that again.

I know where a Randall knife is in a pawn shop. Not cheap and I don't know the model. He had two and I bought one of them. If you are interested, let me know and next time I am in the store I will get the specs on the knife.

why dont you try a dealer I've have used this guy for a out of country buyer before he's super nice and has a very good name, get what you want and don't have to wait

There are plenty of Randalls available - for about $2-300 over retail.
The Army Surplus store in Baton Rouge keeps a few in stock.
I have ordered 2 and am waiting in line. Won't pay extra.
