I think thats a fine choice. I have the 600yd buckmaster one and it works great. Nikon is good in my book.

That retail price is pretty outrageous...pretty good sale price

Nikon Monarch is good to go

I can't eak for the monarch but I prefer the prostaff 550 display over that of the leupold rx600 and the bushnells I've looked thru
