Took it to the range today. I like it! It's no Gold Cup but sturdy and cycles well. When I started this quest I was looking for a clunker to rebuild. Something to improve on and accurize but I found this one and I had never heard of a "Citadel". I put just over 100 rnds. through it (cheep stuff) and it loved it. Tried a few Winchesters and some Hornadys and no problems. The trigger pull is smooth and crisp, maybe a little heavy, I did not measure it but I don't think I would try to change it either. It works well with other 1911 mags. For the price (I STOLE IT) it was a bargain.

Glad you like it. How does it group?
Good groups at close range. 2" to 3" group, standing, free handed, is good for these old eyes. Sights are more combat than target. At longer range (indoors maybe 20 yards) The lighting and the sights and my eyes, not so good. That does not reflect on the firearm as much as it does on me.

The range down here needs some improvements. Better lighting, better ventilation (if there is any at all) and there are no distance markings. When you run your target out, you don't know how far away it is, in ft. or yds. Something in the way of acoustics would be nice too. When three or more people are firing, the sound and shock waves are very high.
