I have been toying with finally coming over to the dark side and going with a Glock. I shot a 26 at a police range a while back and liked it pretty much. I've been holding off until I come across a good deal/trade, but I'd appreciate any input on what would be a decent price on a used Glock 26, and any concerns about earlier versions.

Normally, I'd say used Glocks should go from around $400 to $450, depending upon condition, but the sub-compacts seem to command more. Finding a used one is the bigger problem. Folks just don't turn them loose very often. The new ones I see in gun shops seem to run around $525 and most of the used ones I see advertised are priced from $475 to $500. Bud's has most of their Glocks on sale right now for $450 or less for closeouts, but I haven't seen a G26 advertised at all there for quite some time. One of the FFLs on the board here might be able to order you one for a decent price, dunno. Check with Mr Clean. He's a good source and may even know of a used one for sale somewhere. As far as earlier models go, I don't think that's a problem. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone having a problem with a G26 of any generation. Hope this helps.:)

expect to pay $375 - $450 depending on condition.

The smaller the gun, the hotter an item it seems to be...They hold value more for some reason.

They are carried a lot and shot little...like most snub nose revos

"reasonable" is highly subjective

Glocks are a dime a dozen...Luv my 26...it aint for sale
