Planning on rebarreling my small ring mauser, gonna stay with 7x57, but just want to get rid of the military barrel. I have been looking at the shilen pre-threaded, shortchambered barrels, is there any account to these? What would it cost to get one installed? Is it better to go with a blank, cost and accuracy being the issues? Some one in the south Ms area to install it? Would like anyone's input. Thanks

i have rebarreled quite a few of the mausers with shilen barrels they make good hunting rifles . they are cock on closing witch makes for a heavy bolt return . also lock time is very slow and muddy .
