found a have dozen of these old scope mounts in an old hardware store, you do have to have a gunsmith make one tap hole in the front of the receiver, but man these make for a way cool, and easy way to mount a scope low on your m1 carbine, put a small fixed 4x nikon in medium rings on mine, and have killed two coyotes already with it

photo will have to be saturday evening, out of town at the moment, yes, bought them all, $10 each, sold two of them to my kinfolks, and have two more, but also have two more carbines......

Not sure I could bring myself to drill a hole in my IBM. Might find a Plainfield or something...
