Has anyone ever loaded and used FP bullets in a M1 or M1A? If so, how was the accuracy compared to a M2 ball? Were there any problems with cycling the rounds in the M1 or M1A. I'm sure they would work fine in a bolt rifle. Before I buy any of these bullets, I wanted to hear from anyone who has experience with FP bullets.

Never have. There are 2 grooves for pointed bullet to guide themselves into the chamber. The Flat pointed bullets might not feed as well as pointed bullets.

I took a look at that FP -- sure is mighty flat on top .. I would worry about it feeding correctly in a semi ...

Thanks for you quick feedback. I think I will go to Plan B and use this type bullet only in a bolt action rifle. I'll stick to using the M2 ball in my semi autos.

If you get some - give it a try -- may work in the M1A -- have my doubts about the Garand ...
