I've never really looked at the components being sold at gunshows, are the prices reasonable? I'm mostly wondering about powder and primers. It seems like surplus city has the best deal on primers and Vans has the best selection of powder (although I think the powder prices are a little high). I'm suprised at the limited selections at 4 and 8#'s. Are the gun shows comparible?

I've never checked the prices there. I usually go in with a group of people and order it from Natchez Shooters Supply so we can split the hazmat and shipping.

the had a big powder booth at this gun show in philly but prices was a little retarded. my $20 per lb bullseye was $27 bucks with them

I've found it to be a crap shoot. They vary quire a bit it seems from show to show. I always check the prices before I go to a show and compare them once I get there.

yup, real hit or miss. No screaming deals you can be certain. Fair to ridiculous at best...if you see any at all.

I have found many good deals at gun shows. 8#can of H335 for $25.00, 100 .270 150 gr bullets $5.00. Look at the misc. tables as well as the reloading component dealers.

While it has been several years when I use to go to the shows, I have gotten a fair price on some reloading compenents for a place in Alabama that always had a table ... prices were fair but he did make a buck or two ...

I use to get bullets from them also I think. They were not at any of the shows I went to the last few times.

I haven't seen any great deals on reloading supplies at gun shows in the past year. When Obama went into office, ammo and reloading components got scarce and the prices all skyrocketed. Now people who bought that stuff while it was high are trying to sell it.

I bought some a few months ago at a jackson show that was a good price. 8# blc2 for $100. The one pounders were around $23 for most. Not as cheap per pound as buying bulk but good for smoke pound canister compared to retail stores.
