A couple of weeks ago, a friend and I went to Starkville Gun Club to sight in our hunting weapons. My chosen hunting round, Hornady 165 gr. BTSP Interlock, did well at 100 yards. It measured 1.1". We moved back to 200, and it all well to the proverbial hot place. I was upset! I've been talking to SGMJody about reloads and BeauBeaux about weapon mods. Well, first step was to try some reloads. This was first because it was cheapest! SGMjody gave me some Sierra Match King 220's to try. I already had some 165 gr BTSP Hornady's. I had some W760 and H335. Reloader gave me some PRIMED .30-06 brass. I was ready! Loaded 4 different loads of the 165's over H335 and 4 more over W760. then I loaded 4 loads of the 220's over W760.
Skip to today, because none of you want to hear about my three days at work! Got to the range at 0845 (SGMJody had been there since yesterday, I think). I got to shoot his new Savage .308, first (awesome weapon). Then, it was time to go to work with my '06! Wow! I couldn't believe my eyes! I had several loads under MOA! We were shooting at 200 yd. I had three loads under 1". My best was the 165 over W760 at .6360". Next was the 165 over H335 at @.75". I also had one of the 220's just under 1". Remember this was all at 200 yds. Now a couple of pics:

I don't remember the exact loads, but if anyone wants them, I'll be glad to poast them.
