I picked up a box of remington .223 for $7.00!!!!! They are $9.99 normal but if you sign up for the d**k's card thing for free it goes down to under $7.00. I will be going back next week for a ton more.

I didn't really check em out. And I think this $7 might be normal price, I didn't see any sale stickers. They don't carry monarch or tula so it's mostly mid range ammo. They dis have some off brand .40 cal boxes of 100 for $35 I think. If your in the market for .223 I would stop in there.

Remington 55 grain. It's just the basic target ammo but it's cleaner and probably more reliable than monarch.

It comes out to $.35 a round which is the same as buying 1000 from Cheaperthandirt. Just without the shipping. Don't know about a max buying amount tho, I'll find that out next week haha

Hadn't had any trouble out of monarch shooting but it is made China or Russia, not sure. Shot it up and don't have a old box. Seems like it was dirty though and that monarch has two types, steel and brass. Wouldn't shoot it in an AR.

That's about as good a price as I've heard on decent ammo though LtDan. I may go pick up a few boxes. Thanks for the heads up.

I unfortunately have some monarch steel case rounds, I'm gonna try to put em thru but I'm gonna be careful at it. I have a good amount of monarch brass and that's not gonna be fun to clean but it was cheap. As long as d**k stays the same price that's where I'll be getting my ammo. Oh and monarch is made in Serbia.

Im up in Wisconsin right now and at Fleet farm I picked up a few boxes of Winchester .223 for $8.29. I was happy.
