I've got a Remington Custom Shop Mod. 700 in .35 Whelen and want to put on a new recoil pad. The existing pad, which has "Remington" molded into it, has no visible screw holes. Anyone got any experience with this problem before I call Remington?

Also, I read that Remington has a new kind of recoil pad that is as good/better than Limbsaver, anyone know about these?

Thanks...
