That has turned out to be fake news. It was reported on TV last night that someone claiming to be his publicist released that info to the media. His real publicist notified media discounting Lewis' death and stated that Jerry Lee is in fact alive.

I wasn't aware of that. Edited my previous. According to WREG as of 3 hours ago he is dead.
