I was at the Lynyrd Skynyrd monument this afternoon in Gillsburg listening to Gene Odom, one of the crash survivors talk about the crash and life with the band. He was one of Ronnie Van Zandt's friends and in charge of security for the band. He comes over every so often to hang out there.
