I bought a Boyds Blaster stock and a E R Shaw bull barrel. I sent my bolt off and had it worked and I'm fixing to do my trigger group. I stripped my reciever and I'm going to duracoat all the surfaces a matte silver. It should be a shooter. I'm thinking about a Mueller APV scope to top it all off. The sky is really the limit on what you can do to the 10/22's. I also built the 10/22 that I grew up with as a kid. I duracoated everything black except the barrel which is gone now to be reworked and blued. I had Clarks do the trigger group and also had the bolt worked on it also. I sanded the factory Walnut stock and redid it. I'm going to put it back exactly the way it was when I was growing up except for the new facelift and a little accuracy work.

Got me to thinking -- have 3 10/22s and only really shoot one of them ... not that I need another project; BUT!!

I built one with a houge stock and a tactical solutions barrel. Shot really good groups for the first 20000 rounds now the accuracy is horrible went from cover 10 shots with a dime at 50 to 75 yards to cover a coke can at 50 yards . But the gun is exteamly light and easy to carry . Also worked on the trigger some .
