Yesterday on another forum, I saw a post about a recall on the old tang safety Ruger M77's. It was on the trigger overtravel adjustment screw. Looked it up and it was years ago. I had one in the safe and when I checked it, it was one that was affected by the recall. Because it was so old, I figured Ruger wouldn't have anything for them anymore. I sent them an email last night and got two back today. The first saying a new screw would be sent to me, the second, was showing it had been shipped. Talk about speedy customer service!!

So, if you have an old safe queen M77, go to the Ruger website and check it out.

Ruger is very good about shipping parts to the customer if it is a recall or you have something break. I have one of the older 77 Rugers , it is a shooter, never had a problem but thanks, I will check it out.
