Picked up a new Ruger SR9c this weekend. Took it out to the little range in Brooklyn and ran 200 rounds of cheap plinking ammo through it and couldn't be more impressed. Never jammed and very accurate for a compact. I generally don't like plastic guns and still don't, but I'm impressed with this thing. I've been a Ruger revolver and rimfire shooter my entire life, but have never been a fan of their auto loading pistols. I finally took a chance on this one, and for the money there is no way to go wrong. Anybody thinking of compact Glock or Springfield should really give this little gem a look. Hate to admit this, but it is far more accurate than my Kimber ultra (at least with me shooting) and half the price.

There are about a half dozen owners here and just about all of us have had similar experiences as yours. I love my little SR9c and, if I had to choose over a Glock 19 or 26, I believe I'd choose this one. Like yours, mine is deadly accurate and has never even hinted of wanting to jam. For the same price as a well used Glock, I think they're a heck of a bargain. I don't have a CCP, but if I did, this would definitely be my carry gun. Glad yours is performing well.:)

Maybe we should start a SR9c sub forum. :lol4:

Glad to here there is one more out there with a good review. I did not get to shoot mine this past weekend, (reroofing the house) and I do miss it. Congrats on getting yours.
