I shot one at the range a while back and thought it was an impressive little gun. It shot well and was a nice size for CCW. Very light and thin, too. It should carry comfortably. Hope you enjoy yours.:)

Matt,

The SR Series Rugers have caught my eye as well and I have not read anything negative about the SR9C anywhere. I have been resisting the temptation to pick up an SR40, if they don't release an SR40c soon. Congrats on the new purchase, you will have to let me know how it shoots.

As I posted earlier I recently purchased a new Ruger SR9c. Well today I took it to the range and put about 250 rounds down the barrel. Here are my thoughts after leaving the range.
The trigger is still a little rough but the more I shoot it the more a get use to it. I like the way the weapon feels and fires especially with the larger magazine. The sites are a little off but not reel bad (they are adjustable). I did have 6 FTF but I believe that was the ammo (some strange out of country ammo I found at Wal-Mart that was cheap). It had no problems with Remington or Winchester ammo. Will put another 250 down the pipe soon and let y’all know after that as well. Also I learned that I do not like ear plugs as hearing protection. Shoot away if you have any question or comments.

Probably the RWS ammo Walmart is selling. I bought two boxes of the 115 gr FMJ a couple weeks ago and had 11 failure to fire in my CZ P01 switched to some white box winchesters I had with me and all failures stopped.

Here is part two of this review. After visit the gun show and picking up a shotgun from Mr. Clean I headed to yroc’s house and we put 300+ rounds down the barrel. I like this weapon. The trigger has cleaned up well (also pulled the striker portion out and cleaned it). I had no misfires or misloads. Ruger has done well with this weapon. I think I am going to get a Crimson Trace laser setup on it and it should be good. If you have any questions about it holla it me.

Matt,
How well do you like the lolster in your avatar? I saw one like that, and was considering it.

I love it. I ordered another body for my Glock 22. Very comfortable, I have a Desaintis that I cannot wear because of the Comp-Tac. I would recommend it or the Crossbreed.

Yes Ruger has done a fine job on this one. I have never picked up a gun for the first time and shot as well as I did with the SR9c. Felt good and has a clean trigger. Thanks to Matt letting me shoot his, my wallet will get a little lighter next time I run across one of these for sale.

Well, ya'll have convinced me..... I've been looking at the SRC for a while....thinking the 9 will be more controlable than the 40.... Ok, here I go...will report back once I have it!!! Thanks for the reports. BTW, the feedback on Buds is 99% - 5 stars as well....
