Ive just moved to South Ms and from my research it looks like deer rut really late here. Like end of Jan. first of Feb. Ive seen losts of deer nothing even looking like there ready.

well in central, MS it usually starts with the primitive weapon season...I guess that would be the 2nd primative weapon season now :lol4:

Mid Dec in other words....NOW....since I see lots of fawns in Oct still I'd say the rut goes on for quite a long time....poor bucks...working hard out there!

Ya'll whack your fair share of doe meat so the boy's can rest some :D

wish I could go today..but way way too windy...its like a freaking hurricane at my house off and on

I could not stand it...went yesterday afternoon...waste of time

Wind has been blowing pretty hard at my house for 3 days...Blew my hot water heater out...so cold shower this am...Not!

Perfect weather today and Tues....of course now I'm at work :pullhair:

I'm in a stand now everything is looking good I keep hereing something behind me and my wives dog sticks head in the crack of the door and comes in and lays under the chair oh well guess he's going to hunt this evening.
