When am I going to learn to stay out of pawn shops. I spotted this SAKO 243 and could not leave without it. Made in 1972 in great shape with original sights too. My last choice would have been a 243 but I did it anyway. About to look for 243 stuff. The scope is a Leupold 7.5x.

Yes that is nice. I have always liked the .243 caliber. Great round IMO.

This is my second Sako and I would love to have a third, a Finnwolf! That will probably never happen. Weren’t some of the 7.62 military rifles made by sako? I’m uniformed about those.
Thanks

It’s off to see the wizard, the wizard of 35 caliber. I acquired a set of SAKO rings for the new scope and the 7.5x Leupold is going on my 222. I hope i can figure out how to mount the SAKO rings, I have no instructions.
