Well, I kinda did want one and I just happened to run in the pawn shop a minute and there it was. My choice always for a long gun is wood and blue and if I cant get that I’ll take blue and wood. This rifle looks almost new and came with the scope. I have several pics I took this morning out at the barn. It’s a shooter too! The nice previous owner had it sighted in perfectly.
I did some precision targeting and shooting to test it. I picked out a knot on a fence post at 73 steps. I then turned two lawn chairs where I could sit in one and rest the rifle on the other. I fired 5 rounds at the knot and had 5 hits. Thinking it was just a fluke I tried 5 more rounds, 5 more hits. I think I’m gonna like this rifle. I cannot decide how the dent at the end of the barrel got there but thank goodness it does not affect accuracy.
BTW, I gave $400 for it which was probably a litt;le high but I’d do it again.
