Are there any Savage 99 shooters out there? Let's see some pictures. These are mine. Top to bottom they are:
Savage 99EG, .250 Savage, mfg. in 1941
Savage 99EG, .300 Savage, mfg. in 1952
Savage 99F, .308, mfg. in 1959
Savage 1899B, .303 Savage, mfg. in 1904
Savage 99C, .308, mfg. between 1965 and 1973
Savage 99A, .250 Savage, mfg. in 1979
Savage 1899H, .303 Savage, mfg. in 1914

My Dad had a Savage back in the early 70's. His claim was that for this model ( that he had) it was much less prone to malfunction in snowy weather we had up in Northern Idaho. Hunting up there is mighty different than down here. Up there they hunt from ridge to ridge for much larger distances.

I can't believe there's no one out there with a Savage 99 that they want to show off. :confused: If you've got one your ashamed of let me know and I'll give it a good home. :smile:

The two in .303 Savage are my favorites. I bought the 1899B in Canada. It took six months to get all the paperwork and approvals to get it shipped down here.
