If I put a scope on my AR and get it sighted in, could I remove it for a time then put it back on (the weaver style mounts with finger screws) and have it still be reasonably close to zeroed?

I have a cheap Wally world center line 4-16 Mildot with a promag quick detatch rings and mount (yes the mount was more than the scope) on my dpms ap4. I swap out with my eo-tech all the time. As long as I mount it back in the same place on the rail, the zero has been no more than 2 in off at 100 yds. Most of the time its stays zeroed after I take it off and put it back on.
