Mine was within an inch at 100 yards.
Scopes and accuracy
If I put a scope on my AR and get it sighted in, could I remove it for a time then put it back on (the weaver style mounts with finger screws) and have it still be reasonably close to zeroed?

The accuracy will not be affected, bit your zero will be.
Accuracy, in my opinion, is how well a weapon hits the same spot every time. Zero, in my opinion, is where a bullet impacts in relation to your aiming point.
