Here are the scores from the 7/13/2019 Vintage Bolt match. Congratulations to Mr. Smith! We had a great turn out. Had some new faces as well. Glad to see all of you take the time to participate and hope you had fun. Good diversity of rifles. Thanks to all those that participated and a special thanks to those that helped with setup and take down.

All our 1903A3 boys were missing unfortunately. I didn’t even think about giving Michael a bump via PM or such unfortunately. I knew Shoe had to work and Gary couldn’t make it.

Mr McArthur showed up to shoot a pistol match that was canceled so he joined us with his AR. Glad to have him.

I’ve always got rifles to loan someone if needed, we just need to make sure the ammo is covered ahead of time. Mine is mostly handloads and I wouldn’t want somebody besides me using them.

I've definitely gotta practice more. That's pretty apparent.

Also have we heard how the guy with the M44 is doing?

I’ll let Squeezer jump in and give more details if he wants to share them but quick summary is he is good.
I'm doing well. My sister spent 5 hours on Sunday picking out brass bits from my hand. It doesn't hurt at all and the ER gave me antibiotics to prevent infection. An Xray showed a couple of fragments that were too deep to get with tweezers, and referred me to an orthopedic surgeon to get those fragments out. Thank you to everyone on Saturday, and an extra thanks to Bobby to taking me to the ER and staying with me.

Glad you're not hurt to bad..
So sounds like a kaboom? reloads? PICs of gun plz!!
Old surplus ammo. Was shooting 10 rounds in 80 seconds in the match. Pressed trigger, click no boom. Pulled bolt back, no round extracted. I thought the gun was empty because that is what normally happens on it when no round is in the chamber, and the magazine was empty. Loaded in 5 more rounds with stripper clip. Pulled bolt forward and tip of bullet impacted primer of cartridge still in the chamber and boom!
