Going to be living out of an RV in the Meridian area for a week starting today. Wondering if anybody can point me to a shooting range in the area? Preferably something with at least 100 yards... Thanks!

Its like a home away from home to me.
What are the ranges like at PBRPC? Are we talking covered benches or just a field with some burms set up? Is it really closed on Saturday like your post says??
I talked with Mr. Ira on the phone about a year ago. He told me that it was a private club and a referral was usually required to join. I was just probing at the time so I thanked him and said goodbye.
I live in the city. Recently I lost access to the area my kids and I use to shoot. Since then I have been driving out to Camp Shelby, but that is usually a hassle since we can't always set up in the same spot, finding a good spot can be difficult, and we get run off by troops doing manuvers at times.
If the same invitation is extended to me, I will like to take you up on that some time soon. I need a safe, stable place to bring my little markswomen.
25 yard to 100 yard covered around 75 yards across. 300 yard open bench and 400 yard covered.
I can bring guests. need to load some ammo, need to get some.
Camp shelby is a good place, but as you found out can be a hassle.
well do it some time soon. what are you all sooting?
Hi Steve, there is a range in the Meridian area. It is a police range thou, however shooting club member can get access to it on the weekend and after 5 pm. The website is for it is http://meridianshootingclub.org/
Hey guys, thanks for the info. Savageshooter, I shoot 22LR (pistol and rifle), .40 S&W, .45-70 and 6.8 SPC. Maybe an occasional 38/357 revolver, but not very often.
Would love to check out PBRPC with you sometime. I'm still working up loads for the 6.8 and the .40. A good solid bench would really help me get these loads dialed in. When we go you're welcome to shoot any of my stuff.
Anyway, I'll PM when I get back in town and can get free to do some shooting. I live very close to PBRPC -- probably within 5 miles. I'm just a few hundred yards from the corner where Buffalo Hill Road intersects Paulding Road.
