Captain-03's sample target is what you need to try to beat X-Ring at 100 yards!

I find it amusing that the we've "blown-up" the rimfire section of this forum the last 2 months...

It used to be deadsville in rimfire...

Good to see all the action

Ya'll don't forget to get signed up for the "match" or shoot at my place Dec 18th...seperate thread for that...Gotta be signed up to come play.

we will have a blast!

Got out at daylight this morning and shot my Kimber with match loads. No wind perfect conditions. Was able to get a good steady hold on my target. Rifle is shooting extremely good. I think we need to put some side bets on each string. Say $20.00 per gun, so ya'll bring your money on the 18th. Posted below is the target but don't let that discourage you like I said it was ideal conditions

Not bad for a 20 round string ... only 6 not on the paper -- Excellent shooting ...

Reminds me of a funny story from when I lived in Starkville.

There was a pool hall right off of Main St. We went there fairly regularly just to have fun, no money. When we got there about mid afternoon, there was only a single customer. He was an older black gentleman. We started shooting a little bit and he asked if we would like to join him. We played around for about an hour or so, probably breaking even with him. He said, "I've got time for one more game, how about we add a little excitement to this one." I knew what he was up to. I said, "Honestly, I haven't got any money to play." He said, "That's ok." He then proceeded to break and clean the table without ever giving us a shot!

that happened with me up at Ground Zero in Clarksdale with a 11 year old playing pool. if we won he had to buy us a beer and if he won we gave him the money. He beat us 3 games in a row and then they called him up on stage and he played the base guitar with the band and was bad to the bone and plays with BB when he comes in town. im glad they called him up on stage.
