I understand the gas piston system is supposed to be superior to the standard ar system, but don't understand how. The pistol version would be really cool.

I have seen the pistols on gunbroker, and have thoguh about buying the rifle version. I rather buy an M1A for that price though.

These pistols even have a screw you can turn up to release more gas pressure when the system gets dirty...They of course say that you really should consider cleaning it instead.

Might be a handy "anti home invasion" weapon with some frangible ammo.

Everything I've ever picked up from Sig Sauer has been worth the money....This is just kinda way down on the list.

Kel-Tec PLR 16 is a lot of fun...as I imagine this would be also.

I have a Sig 556 it is a very nice rifle. Accuracy is on par with any of my AR's and it's built like a tank. The only complaint I have with the weapon is the crappy BUIS it came with.
