Time for the grand finale for the year, the CMP State Matches at MRPC on Saturday, November 2nd. Please be at the range at least 30 minutes prior to the match to fill out your scorecard and get gear to the line. Any that can make it sooner and help set up are always appreciated as well. $10 match fee. Do not bring rifles to the line until instructed to do so. Chamber flags required. If you don't have one, please ask about when registering.

Format:
- 7:00 AM, gates open, setup and registration.
- 8:00 AM, Vintage State Match, Course A (5 sighters and 30 for score).
- Next (9:30ish), M1 Garand State Match, Course A (5 sighters and 30 for score).
- Last (11:00ish), Service Rifle State Match, President's Course (2 sighters and 30 for score).

Please post below if attending no later than end of day on Thursday, October 31st so we'll have a good idea of how many targets to put up.

Course A (we will not be using the block time on the sighters/slow prone though as shown as we'll need to paste the sighters):

We've got seven on here so far and I've had three others that aren't on MSGO contact me for a total of 10 and we are still two weeks out. If you are on MSGO, see this, and plan to attend, please post here. I'd like to have a good idea on targets to set up.

I've got Shoe, Shack, and three non-MSGO guys signed up via email so it is now a total of 14 counting me. Four slots left (we'll have to close it at 18 given berm and target/shooter spacing limits).

If it gets to 18, I'd suggest offering a couple of stand-by slots. There are always no-shows.

Good deal. That puts us at 17 for service rifle (some contacted me via pm and CMP email). 12 to 14 for vintage and Garand. If your name isn't on the below list and you plan to attend, please contact me or Mr. Squirrel via PM here or post below. We can probably only fit 18 targets.

PS: the water will probably be up to the old gate, but shouldn't impact us.

Take Florence Byram Road exit off I55, range is about a mile or so from I55 on right, just across river bridge.

At our old club, ammo and rifle was furnished for a minimum charge

(Range officers picked up over in Anniston)

found my old money order reciept for my M1 during my last move!
